Having started her career at Vogue Australia, where she contributed to iconic imagery alongside designer Josh Goot of WARDROBE.NYC and renowned photographers Will Davidson, Lachlan Bailey, and Sebastian Kim. While at Parsons School of Design, she learned from and worked under editors such as Christine Centenera, Samira Nasr, and Carine Roitfeld on cover stories and campaigns for luxury brands like Chanel.

In 2018, Cuso made her Creative Director debut at New York Fashion Week, unveiling her menswear and womenswear collection, Dreams & Nightmares, at Pier 59 Studios. Her work in fashion has been featured in Elle Hong Kong, Fashion Week Online, and The Cut.

These experiences in fashion laid the groundwork for her transition into film. Cuso is also a Founding Member of Soho House San Francisco and an active member of Women in Film
